Frequently Asked Questions
Why do I need to sign-up?
We are asking everyone to sign up so that we have a good distribution of team members to projects. We want to make sure that we have enough team members for each so, signing up will help us plan better the allocation of supplies, resources, tools, etc. Besides, if you register, you get a cool t-shirt when you check in at the lobby on Sunday, Nov 5th.
What do I do on Sunday?
Everyone is asked to come to Point Harbor on Sunday and check in. There will be tables in the lobby with team members with lists organized by last name. Check in with one of them and receive a t-shirt. After checking in please move inside to the auditorium for a brief devotional by Pastor John, before going to do the work.
What happens if I don’t sign up?
You will be fined $1,000 and your car will be confiscated! Naww… if you don’t sign up you will be assigned to one of the nifty projects on campus. But, you wont get a cool t-shirt!
What times can we work? What time does it start and finish?
At each site, we will be start working at 9am. Finish when the work is done or when you are done.

What types of work might I be doing?
Work may include painting, washing windows, weeding, landscaping, power washing, laying mulch, deck repair, etc.

Food. We won’t be able to provide snacks. Please bring your own food/lunch.

Will I be working alone?
It will depend on the nature of your assignment. In most cases, you will be working in small teams, led by a team leader.
